Bio:

Amir is a Sacramento native. He is a graduate of El Camino High School, where he was a member of the baseball team. After high school, he attended The University of California, Davis. Amir graduated with honors from UC Davis with a degree in Political Science.

Following college, Amir worked for a smal local firm. While there he witnessed firsthand the burden facing individuals who had no one to advocate for their rights. This inspired Amir to leave his job and attend the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. He pulled double duty, attending classes full time during the day, and working full time at night to help support himself and to pay tuition. While in law school, Amir received The Dean’s Scholarship Award and earned honors in Trial Advocacy.

After graduation, Amir went to work as a law clerk for a prominent civil attorney in the Sacramento area. In his position, he gained valuable experience working on a wide variety of legal matters; while at the same time, learning how to best advocate for clients’ rights.

Amir enjoys golfing, attending Kings and River Cats games, and walking his beagle with the love of his life, Angela.

Alex J. Lewis, 1984 to 2012

A founding member of our law office team.  Alex was loved and appreciated by clients whom he assisted in their time of need.  Alex left us all too soon.  We will always remember his contribution.

Bio:

Alex lived up and down the state of California; born in Laguna Beach, he grew up in Fresno, San Jose, and Folsom, CA. After graduating from Folsom High School in 2003, Alex attended the University of California, Riverside, where he graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Creative Writing.

A year working in the banking industry gave Alex an understanding of finance and the value of good money management. His year as a banker in Colorado transitioned into a year abroad in England, studying at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, Norfolk. Upon his return to the United States, Alex worked briefly in advertising before entering the legal field.

Alex was an avid baseball fan who loved to make the most of the California outdoors. He enjoyed hiking in El Dorado County and touring the wine country of the Amador Valley.

To honor Alex’s memory, our firm has formed an annual scholarship fund in Alex’s name, the Alex J. Lewis Foundation, Inc., and we will contribute 5% of our firm’s net profit going forward to the foundation.  The foundation will identify a worthy High School senior (or seniors if funds are available) from the Northern California area who is interested in pursuing a degree in creative writing, Alex’s passion. That is, after baseball, and the World Series Champion San Francisco Giants specifically.

Many, very generous people from all over the world, have joined the effort and supported the foundation with their donations. If you would like to contribute, you can click on the secure Pay Pal donation link below.
